The fun of dogs

So my nice quiet night turned a but ugly at the drop of some sausage...
Hubby thought he'd be nice and put some sausage in the dog bowl for my dogs to eat. They're usually gret with eachother at dinner time. Well this time it got burtal! They locked onto eachother and it took pulling tails and prying apart with a broom to get them to settle down. So glad its over! My dog has a few wounds, one the size of a quarter and another the size of a pencil. The other is fine, not even a hair missing.

On the brighter side hubby has tomorrow night off so I should have a new video up soon!

Animals

Seems like I have a big heart this week and those (animals) who need have found me. Last week we were blessed with a cute dog for like 3 days, his owner finally came to get him. I hated to come home and find him gone but I know if he needs us he will be back. This week I found a turtle on its back in the front yard, with its shell beaten up. I was able to take him to the vet and they released him. Was so happy to know he wasn't hurt.
I tried to upload the pic of the turtle but the blogger is being mean

5th of November

"Remember, remember the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot."

Gotta LOVE V for Vendetta

"VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition."

"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

So with that I bid everyone a fond Guy Fawkes Day

What A Day

So today has been the best worse day of my life! To get things started my dad comes to me at 2pm sayin he needed the car... I had to be at my orientation for my new job (go me) at 3pm. So I take my hubby's car and go by where my dad was supposed to be to find no car. Swung back by the house to get my expired I.D. After I leave the house for the 2nd time, I get pulled over by an unmarked truck! Come to find out I was going 67 in a 35... to top it of hubby's tag are exoired by 5 months! So here I am in my new uniform with an expired I.D., expired tags, no seatbelt, and late for orientation. At least I had insurance ^.^ That's a good thing right? Well my ticket is 187 for the speeding and 25 for the seatbelt. The speeding ticket alone should have been like 300 if not more. So glad that's over with.

On the way back from my new job the car runs out of gas! No cell and on an entrance ramp off the intersate. Thought I was going to have to walk 5 or more miles to get help. I'm so so SO glad that a trucker stopped to help me. Never knew semi's were so comfy. I've always been scared of them, never thought I'd be running to one. So I finally get a ride back to my car from a very nice security guy who didn't even ask me to pay for the gas.

It's so nice to know there is still some good out in the world. Thanks to the kindness of 4 people I'm able to type this from home. Now I'm off to bed.

Here's to those angels we never see and remember to help those in need because you never know when you might need it
